It was John Paul Young who made the song “Love is in the air” famous. Well, I hope the reason for your visit to this website is because there is a lot of love in the air! And that is only because I’m a firm believer that love is the only reason why we should get married. If we want to get married for any other reason, then I’m afraid, I’m having my doubts.
Being a minister for more than 20 years, and being in full-time ministry for 18 years, I have come to know the importance of getting married for the right reason. I have seen so many people who get married with the greatest of intensions and resolutions, only to abandon them after a while. Over the years I have realized that a marriage cannot be based on feelings alone, there’s more to it.
I am passionate about people, and real love. I am passionate about making them happy and sharing in the beauty of the love between them. Even though I am a qualified and ordained minister with the Christian Fellowship of Ministries, I don’t have a church of my own. I focus on people that are “outside” of the institution of the church,
for whatever reason, and try to show them the amazing love of an awesome God.
I know that love is indeed as strong as death, and many waters cannot quench it. I wish I could give you a signed letter stating that there will never be many waters trying to quench the love in your case, but we live in a broken world with a lot of challenges. The good news is: If we can live by the principles of love, all obstacles can be overcome. Yes, I believe in principles rather than legalism, and that is what I’m trying to teach my children (Germandt, Andrucia and Rehbart). To see more of me and my family, feel free to have a look at our gallery.
So, what can you expect on your wedding day, should I be involved? Well, we will have fun. I prefer to celebrate the love in your hearts, rather than laying down laws of a married life. Giving you some principles that helped me survive the challenges of marriage, and involve your guests in your most beautiful day. The way in which we conduct the ceremony all depends on your taste and preference. I want to help you to make it one of the most memorable days of your lives. It can be formal, semi-formal, informal, themed, but it will always have an undertone of celebration.
You choose the venue, and I am prepared to meet you there on the day and time of your choice. It can be local, national or even international.
I love having fun at weddings. Please feel free to have a look at the “Past events” section, maybe you will recognize someone. References are available.
